Courtney and Sterling - Engagement Session - 2013

I recall having a talk about a year ago with Courtney, saying "Now, don't go off to school and fall in love".  Bwahahaha...sure enough she did.  However, I couldn't be more excited for this couple.  They are such a cute couple together. Congratulations Sterling and Courtney!  I wish you an eternity of happiness.  

I'm also experimenting with a few new ways of editing, but I keep going back to my bold colors...I just love them. 

Camargo-Cox Wedding 2013 - Central Valley Wedding Photographer

What a pleasure it was to get to know this couple.  They were both so sweet and fun.  And their families were so welcoming and sweet too.  I truly had a wonderful time taking their pictures of their celebration of their wedding.  They had wed the day before at the San Francisco Courthouse.  They both wanted to have a small ceremony and celebrate with family and friends the next day.  I unfortunately was not their photographer in San Francisco, but I was thrilled that I could take part during their reception.  I love being able to capture the moments that they will remember for their lifetime together.  I have to say though, my favorite one is when the bride and her new little man snuck off before dinner to get a cupcake.  Totally busted, but they had so much fun doing it!  Thank you to both the Camargo and Cox families for having me take part is such a fun and wonderful day!

Newborn Baby Boy "J" - 12 days old - Newborn Photographer

I am amazed how many babies I've been seeing this month.  This little ones mommy is like a sister to me, so taking pictures of baby "J" was truly such a joy for me.  I loved all the little yawny faces he made and how so cuddly he was.  Luckily, I get to have more fills of this one.  Congratulations Mommy and Daddy on your new addition.  Finally a BOY!  

Newborn Baby "C" - 3 weeks new - Newborn Photographer

It must be boy season right now, this is the third little boy that I've seen within the last week.  And what a joy he was.  I can't begin to tell you about the instant connection I had with him mommy. She is a friend of another newborn mommy that I visited this month and she just had to have some taken of her adorable little boy as well.  Even though he was a little older than what I typically like to do for newborn sessions, he did great!  I loved that he was alert for many pictures looking right into the camera, yet gave us a little nap to take those adorable sleepy pictures.  Thank you sweet baby "C" for visiting me and bringing your sweet mommy to meet me!  

(PS - I hope these uploaded okay, I'm trying out my new laptop for some editing and journaling.

Maternity Session - Lodi, CA - Joe and Sarah

I truly do feel so blessed to be part of Joe and Sarah's lives.  I have been privileged to be able to get to know them on a friendship level and don't know what I would do with out her in my life.  She brings such joy to me every time I see and meet up with her.  Now that she is married to a wonderful man and they are adding a wonderful first addition to their family.  I couldn't be more excited for anyone right now!  Congratulations to you and I can't wait to meet little "E".

Kerr-Daniel Wedding - Oakland Temple - Reception Oakdale, CA

Once and a while you meet people in your life that your are giddy when you hear news about them.  I was so excited when I found out that they were getting married, and then they contacted me to do their wedding as well!  OH, boy was I excited.  This truly was such a beautiful day and these two beamed with love for one and another.  I had such a wonderful time with them capturing their day.  They had so many beautiful details at their wedding and loved each and every thought they put into their day.

  I hope that they have a lifetime of love, fun, and smiles together.
