I love being able to capture little ones as they grow up. It is such a pleasure to be able to capture each stage as they come along and see their little personalities show through. Just more reasons why I love Photography! Unfortunately, I think with this little one she's had a runny nose each time and a bit cranky because of some top teeth coming in, but we still got her sweet expressions. Thanks Stephanie and Zach for letting me be part of your lives and being able to capture them for you!

Sweet Baby C - Newborn Photography Session - San Andreas
I was given the pleasure to take pictures of this sweet little 10 day old baby last week. Normally baby sessions are long, hard, hot, exhausting and tiring! But I love them, it is such an awesome pleasure to be able to capture these precious new little lifes. However, this time, I was spoiled! She ate before coming over and slept the whole time. She had but a moment of fussiness and recovered quickly with her binki! And when I thought we were done, she even gave me a couple more with a new prop. She really did spoil me, what a treat!

Baby Coming for the Wierlos - Lodi Maternity Newborn Photographer
When Chad and Tausha called me to help them announce they were planning on announcing they are having a baby, I was thrilled. It was just a little over a year ago that they had asked me to take they're wedding pictures in Cabo San Lucas, which was such an amazing wedding! I am so honored to be able to continue to capturing their life's story and next step in their lives. Now I can't wait till their maternity/gender pictures and once the baby comes.
Congratulations Chad and Tausha, I am SO excited for the two of you.
(The picture color is not my normal style, but I really had to give it a try and I loved how it turned out on all of them.
It gives them an older vintage look, bleached out a bit, with my normal punch of color...just can't get away from the color. )
If you'd like to watch their journey and see all the fun thing that they are doing go check out

CraveMyPhotography is giving away a HUGE Giveway. I WANNA WIN!!!!!
Oh how I would love to win this giveaway! I think any photographer would. Crave photography is such an inspiration. She has a style all of her own. Unfortunately she is pretty far away for me to try to pick her brain by going to lunch...LOL. As if she'd even have time to do so. So, here's the best scenario for me....WIN! She's paying for the trip from anywhere in the world!
YES ANYWHERE! Including everything even a 50mm 1.4 lens...which I love!
The value of this is invaluable! I can not imagine how excited I would be to win this along with everything else that's included. It would be ridiculous.
I really have been loving what I'm doing, but there's so much more to learn and I think this would be a great opportunity. And well you can try too! Although, I'll be honest. Don't! LOL ... Just kidding, please do, 'cause I would love to know someone that won!
I'd bet on me NOT winning it! And I win your $$...any takers? ;) bahahaha
A girl can dream though. And I truly would just LOVE to win this or be able to afford to go!
However, winning would be way better cause of all the fun stuff that comes along with it from all my favorite vendors. Seriously it couldn't be any better!!!
Good Luck!!
Luv, Terri

NewBorn Baby Safety - Lodi Photographer
I have to share, because I want to make others aware about this beautiful picture.
If you are expecting to get this picture of your little one, here are few things you need to know.
Newborns heads and spines are so fragile, I'm sure you already know that! It is important to take extra precautions when photographing. Some photographers are able to take this picture without the help/support of a mother, father, or assistant, and as that may seem okay I would not suggest it. No matter how the picture gets done safety is KEY!
Second thing you need to know is that not all babies like or can be in this position. Not all babies are flexible, sometimes their tummies are too full, sometimes they are not sleepy enough, the list goes on and on. I have talked with other professional photographers and they agree, 1/10 babies can give this adorable pose. Another factor is size of the baby, although this one was only 6lbs 14oz... usually larger babies hold better in this position. If you are going to go for this pose, be sure to try to do it within the first 10 days of the baby being born.
Not only should you be careful in this pose, but many others as well. Examples can be when babies are hung in hammocks or other hanging devices. Be sure that they are very close to the padded ground or beanbag (3-6 inches). Although many photographers like to do as little editing as possible to keep their photographs original, I say "I would rather have SAFETY!"
Please keep this in mind when you take pictures of your little one.
**Please know that I am not trying to shun any photographer by sharing
this, but it is my feeling that a babies safety comes first.

Fairbanks Kids - Family Photographer - Lodi - CA-
I've gotten a bit lazy with updating my blogs...opps. If you follow it I'm sorry.
Here's a couple of my kids. I love how they turned out. I have the hardest time taking pictures of my own kids. For whatever reason, probably because I am their mom, they always look everywhere but the camera. Or they are not smiling and they have great smiles. SUCCESS! (or so I feel). I love my kiddos and love to take pictures of them. They make me so happy and proud to be their mom.

Baby "L"- Baby Photographer - Lodi CA
Oh, sweet baby. At three months she already knows how to work the camera...such a cutie pie...with such beautiful eyes!
I can not get over how quickly my own kids have grown, but seeing someone else's grow so quickly really brings in a reality check. I feel like it was just yesterday, seriously that our dear friends adopted this little sweetie. She is truly such a blessing and they are so grateful to have her in their lives.

Christmas Pictures - Family Photographer - Lodi CA
I love when I meet new families through friends. This family is so sweet and kind I loved being able to work with them. This family dealt with the cold and rain and through it all we got some amazing pictures. Before the shoot, she had showed me some pictures that she wanted to emulate, which I loved. I can never just copy someone else because I am not them, however I can do something similar and put my spin on it. I love the colors withe the sun setting...just perfect. Thank you "G" Family I loved spending time with you.

Newborn Photography - The Parkers - Lodi Area
Oh, what a joy it was to take pictures of one of our best friends baby! And not only that, but got my "Piece De Resistance" that I've been wanting for a long while now. If you don't know, taking infant, especially newborn pictures can be time consuming. You kind of have to work on the babies schedule and work to get them back asleep between pictures. And on top of that, not all babies can bend and move into different positions. So, in doing so you have to move slowly and carefully. I share this because, I think all parents should know that your babies safety comes first before getting that perfect picture and there's tricks that photographers should be doing to ensure your babies safety, that not all do. So, enjoy getting pictures done, but make sure that things are safe and if they are not, you as the parent have the right to say, "I'm not comfortable with that!" and please do, it's your baby.
Back to this sweet little thing named Hallie. I just love how little and dainty she is.
And her big sisters love her dearly too.
Thanks for letting me play with her and take oodles of pictures of her!
"The Piece."
Soooo, excited! I love her mooshy face and big lips, makes me want to kiss them.
